Winter software meetups, anyone?

Hey folks, it seems like every time I get together with a fellow software developer here in town, I find myself talking about how great it would be to have a series of meetups to explore some of the more interesting developments in, well, software development.

So I'd like to do just that - set up some meetups for the post-holiday months that give us geeks a chance to really "geek out" on fun stuff like, Lego robotics, web server metrics and monitoring, the latest developments in DRM, the agony and ecstasy of iPhone development, project architecture case studies... whatever!

Since those specific topics may or may not be interesting to people (I'm pretty much pulling 'em out of my *honk* after all) I thought I'd try something a little different and actually ask what you want to talk about.  Sound good?  If so, and especially if you have something fun you'd like to share with your fellow developers, please take a moment to fill out this short questionnaire:

(BTW, if you know someone who's not on this list who might be interested, please feel free to forward this onto them.)

Once everyone has had a chance to respond (by the end of the holidays) I'll send around the survey results and set up a meetup schedule.
