From: David R.
Sent on: Wednesday, March 12, 2014 3:21 PM
Today, PulsedLight of Bend surpassed their goal of $53,000 with 427 backers with 8 days yet to go. Congratulations to Bob Lewis and Dennis Corey for reaching this milestone. There still is time if you want to be one of the first to get one of these state-of the-art sensors. You can find the campaign at Dragon Innovation

PulsedLight has developed the LIDAR-LITE, an optical distance measurement device. It uses a completely new approach to distance measurement and has tremendous performance improvements over the existing distance measuring technology as well a quantum lower cost. Applications for this device include: robotics,
drones, UAVs and sports.
