DEC Presents: How to Get People to “Buy In” to Your Project and Ideas
Join us on May 13 from 12:30 to 2:30 at the DEC (Dublin Entrepreneurial Center) for lunch and hands-on communicating! We will help one another bring clarity to ideas. Bring your own ideas or use one of mine. Either way, you will learn the skills you need to take your idea to the next level!
As an entrepreneur, you probably don’t have any problems creating ideas. You probably have more ideas banging around in your head right now than you can handle. The problem for you isn’t creating ideas, it’s getting others to buy into your idea – to say “YES” when you ask them to participate, or even better, when you are seeking money!
What’s the secret? Communication!
You know your idea so well that it may be hard for you to communicate it to others in a way that makes sense to them. We’re here to help!
The tools we will be exploring are specifically designed to help you with this. They will help you:
· Bring clarity to your idea
· Write it so anyone can understand it
· Get that elevator speech nailed down
· Figure out how much your idea is REALLY worth
· Learn to work through idea killers
