Make an LED Monster

Workshop fee: $35 per monster (instruction + materials), $60 for two
Instructor: Jesse Hemminger

In the workshop participants will make a little stuffed animal monster with LED eyes that light up when you squeeze its tummy. Participants will also learn some basic electronics, along with basic sewing and soldering techniques. No previous experience with electronics or sewing is required. This workshop is suitable for children aged 8 and up (although younger children are welcome if accompanied by a parent).

    A good workshop. Would have liked a bit more instruction on the sewing, but with such a full class I understand why this may not have been addressed.
