Malware Tech Deep Dive with the Central Ohio ISSA

Central Ohio ISSA - November 28th, Tech Deep Dive, Bill Sempf (OWASP) – Malware (Part II).  This is the second of a three part series, and is building upon the first session which covered general malware analysis.  This session will dive deeper into software and programming.   This session will cover file formats, parts of a file and how to understand file format anomalies.  The course will also offer a light introduction to assembly - enough to get a feel for it and to READ assembly code (not code in assembler).

Cost to attend is $20/member and $150/non-member, including lunch, food and drink throughout the day.  Registration will begin at 8AM, class will run 8:30 through 5PM.  For more info, contact [masked], or David Garcia at (614)[masked] to receive a copy of our program roadmap.  Visit www.centralohioissa.org for info on our local chapter and www.issa.org to join.

Lafayette, No, we have not done that. Our chapter will offer ~130 hours of information this year via regular meetings, tech sessions, a summit, and two CISSP prep courses. The 12x (3) hour sessions for CISSP prep are currently the only ones that are in the evening. David Garcia, Pres, Central Ohio ISSA
