How did you find out about this meetup group?

Other meetup groups that linked to this one.

Where can we find out more information about yourself? Put URL links here ( i.e Company , LinkedIn, Facebook, blog, etc) Please put n/a if you'd rather not share anything about yourself.

What type of meetups are you interested in? i.e professional development (if so what kind), entrepreneurship, general networking, specific technical discipline, environmental sustainability, etc.

I'm interested in professional development in three broad areas: software development (writing code), managing the software development process, and learning to manage groups of people who are way smarter than I am. I'm also interested in networking to get a better idea of what's going on in the Columbus tech community, and to find opportunities to use my skills to make the world a better place, while still earning a reasonable rate of return. I'm particularly interested in applying technology to: projects involving streamlining healthcare, and reducing costs through overhead reduction; sustainable energy; increasing government (and to an extent, corporate) transparency; local, sustainable agriculture; education; and non-profit/NGOs finding long-term solutions to developing world problems via infrastructure and education.

What are the most convenient time of day for you to attend a meetup? morning,, lunchtime, after work, no preference

Evenings are the best time, but if the event is interesting enough, I'll make time.

Professional software developer and occasional entrepreneur. I've co-founded two companies, have at least one more in me. Looking to network, to learn, and to find interesting opportunities.
