We have a private conference room for the Meetup near the Empire State building and that can accommodate around 10 people. We can schedule a second Meetup on the same theme the following week if there is the demand.
Summer is over and we are back at our desks champing at the bit, or should that be the phone, but things have changed dramatically with the New York economy during the summer months particularly this week with one shock to the economy followed by another. What does all this mean for the technology industry in New York and in particular for those on the front line selling to major and not so major accounts who are freezing spend and budgets for new information technology. Are there new ways to find new prospects and are there new ways to sell that will work better in a challenging economy. Does the new sales and marketing of social media marketing and mobile marketing offer a solution to the problems we are being presented with in this economy and are there other new and innovative ways of finding and closing customers that we can add to our sales toolkit. We will be discussing the impact of the troubled New York economy and be looking at new and innovative ways of selling to overcome the problems this economy is presenting us all.
