Introduction

Hi All, I am a Sourcing Lead-Data Center and Switches group in Cisco Systems, San Jose, Ca. I've been working with them for last 2 yrs 4 months.

What company do you work for?

Cisco Systems I am supporting $3 billion group which is known as Server Switches virtualization product group(SSVPG). Details: SSVPG products and technologies play a key role in delivering Cisco's Data Center 3.0 strategy with its innovations in lossless 10GE, also known as Data Center Ethernet, and Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCoE). These technologies contribute to a Unified Fabric for consolidating LANs, SANs and HPC networks. SAVTG is responsible for delivering switching products in the access layer as well as server virtualization and management products. These products include the Nexus 5000 Series switches, the Nexus 1000V virtual distributed software switch, the Catalyst Blade Switches and the vFrame server provisioning products.
