Labor Day @ Metropolitan Museum of Art

To make it easy to find one another, please wear a white shirt. If you have problems finding us, contact Luba Teten,[masked] or David Teten,[masked]-5726.

11:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m: We'll participate in the Charles H. Tally Family Program. A museum docent will lead the kids in sketching of some sculptures/painting. This is geared for families with children ages 5–12, and is free with Museum admission. Meet in the Carson Family Hall, Uris Center for Education, ground floor.

12:30- 2:00pm: Lunch in the Met Cafeteria. If you're walking into the cafeteria, go to the far right corner in the back (i.e, as far as possible from the checkout area). Bring your own lunch or buy something there.

2:15pm: Visit Greek and Roman Galleries. We'll meet immediately behind the guard desk, as you enter the Met from the front.

[Note from David Teten, organizer: My family will be there from 11am onwards.  I expect to personally arrive at approximately 12:40pm.]

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
