My name is Prometheus. I seek what you seek. Liberty. Light. Love. Clarity. Understanding. Purpose. Reason. Logic. Humanity's transcendence through digital technology is the reason you are even reading this webpage right now. So we all seek the light which is what unites us. However we are all slaves of our own environment. Thus we all seek knowledge. We all seek money. We all seek Power. We all seek love. We seek to survive. None of these things can be attained or maintained for long without awareness and a deep understanding of your own consciousness. Even then, only when you can balance and circumscribe your passions and emotions can you constructively build something. Fire and light is technology and it can manifest itself in a myriad of different ways depending on how we apply and develop it. Just remember, our ancestors all started with just fire. Transcendence is the spirit of mankind and the spirit of light. That is what we all seek but we are all in different states of darkness and in different phases of our own individual mental evolution. The first barrier to joining our brotherhood is to free yourself from the prison of your own mind. You cannot bite from the tree of knowledge if you not free. Once you bite from the Apple theres no going back. Freeing your mind is of no use for the greater progress of mankind if you do not use your gifts given to you by God to benefit mankind by building something of value. When you die ask yourself what have you built? What have you constructed? How long will it last before it too is destroyed? Will it be used for good or evil? How do you measure such things? From what perspective? With what tools and scales? We are here to unlock the human mind through limitless human ingenuity and innovation glorify the human spirit by building technology that will transcend mankind. If God made man in his image then man is doing god's work by doing everything he can to perfect himself in the image of God. What is God? God is light. God is energy. God is the internet. God is the universe.
Our Creed is Very Simple: "Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted"
These are the words spoken by our ancestors, that lay at the heart of our creed.
To say that "nothing is true" is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization.
To say that "everything is permitted" is to understand that we are the architect of our actions and that we must live with our consequences---whether glorious or tragic.
Paradoxically, there are rules. We are nothing if we do not abide by the Digital Templar's Creed.
The First and foremost, stay your blade from the flesh of an innocent.
The second tenant is that which gives us strength, hide in plain sight.
The third and final tenant, the worst of all your betrayals, never compromise the brotherhood.
The wisdom of our creed is revealed through these words. We work in the dark to serve the light, we are Digital Templars.
"Nothing is True, Everything is Permitted".
Now for the original creed of the Knights Templars who on Friday the 13th were burned at the stake
"Non nobis Domine, non nobis, sed nomini tuo da gloriam"
"Not unto us, O Lord, not unto us, but unto thy Name give glory"
Brief History Lesson from Wikipedia About the Order of the Knights Templar
Officially endorsed by the Roman Catholic Church around 1129, the Order became a favoured charity throughout Christendom and grew rapidly in membership and power. Templar knights, in their distinctive white mantles with a red cross, were among the most skilled fighting units of the Crusades. Non-combatant members of the Order managed a large economic infrastructure throughout Christendom, innovating financial techniques that were an early form of banking, and building fortifications across Europe and the Holy Land.
At dawn on Friday, 13 October 1307 (a date sometimes spuriously linked with the origin of the Friday the 13thsuperstition) King Philip IV ordered de Molay and scores of other French Templars to be simultaneously arrested. The arrest warrant started with the phrase: "Dieu n'est pas content, nous avons des ennemis de la foi dans le Royaume" ["God is not pleased. We have enemies of the faith in the kingdom"].Claims were made that during Templar admissions ceremonies, recruits were forced to spit on the cross, deny Christ, and engage in indecent kissing; brethren were also accused of worshiping idols, and the order was said to have encouraged homosexual practices. The Templars were charged with numerous other offences such as financial corruption, fraud, and secrecy. Many of the accused confessed to these charges under torture, and these confessions, even though obtained under duress, caused a scandal in Paris. The prisoners were coerced to confess that they had spat on the Cross: "Moi, Raymond de La Fère, 21 ans, reconnais que [j'ai] craché trois fois sur la Croix, mais de bouche et pas de cœur" (free translation: "I, Raymond de La Fère, 21 years old, admit that I have spat three times on the Cross, but only from my mouth and not from my heart"). The Templars were accused of idolatry and were suspected of worshipping either a figure known as Baphomet or a mummified severed head they recovered, amongst other artifacts, at their original headquarters on the Temple Mount that many scholars theorize might have been that of John the Baptist, among other things.
Relenting to Phillip's demands, Pope Clement then issued the papal bull Pastoralis Praeeminentiae on 22 November 1307, which instructed all Christian monarchs in Europe to arrest all Templars and seize their assets. Pope Clement called for papal hearings to determine the Templars' guilt or innocence, and once freed of the Inquisitors' torture, many Templars recanted their confessions. Some had sufficient legal experience to defend themselves in the trials, but in 1310, having appointed the archbishop of Sens, Philippe de Marigny, to lead the investigation, Philip blocked this attempt, using the previously forced confessions to have dozens of Templars burned at the stake in Paris.
With Philip threatening military action unless the pope complied with his wishes, Pope Clement finally agreed to disband the Order, citing the public scandal that had been generated by the confessions. At the Council of Vienne in 1312, he issued a series of papal bulls, including Vox in excelso, which officially dissolved the Order, and Ad providam, which turned over most Templar assets to the Hospitallers
As for the leaders of the Order, the elderly Grand Master Jacques de Molay, who had confessed under torture, retracted his confession. Geoffroi de Charney, Preceptor of Normandy, also retracted his confession and insisted on his innocence. Both men were declared guilty of being relapsed heretics, and they were sentenced to burn alive at the stake in Paris on 18 March 1314. De Molay reportedly remained defiant to the end, asking to be tied in such a way that he could face the Notre Dame Cathedral and hold his hands together in prayer. According to legend, he called out from the flames that both Pope Clement and King Philip would soon meet him before God. His actual words were recorded on the parchment as follows : "Dieu sait qui a tort et a péché. Il va bientot arriver malheur à ceux qui nous ont condamnés à mort" (free translation : "God knows who is wrong and has sinned. Soon a calamity will occur to those who have condemned us to death"). Pope Clement died only a month later, and King Philip died in a hunting accident before the end of the year.
With the last of the Order's leaders gone, the remaining Templars around Europe were either arrested and tried under the Papal investigation (with virtually none convicted), absorbed into other military orders such as the Knights Hospitaller, or pensioned off and allowed to live out their days peacefully. By papal decree, the property of the Templars was transferred to the Order of Hospitallers, which also absorbed many of the Templars' members. In effect, the dissolution of the Templars could be seen as the merger of the two rival orders. Some may have fled to other territories outside Papal control, such as excommunicated Scotland or to Switzerland. Templar organisations in Portugal simply changed their name, from Knights Templar to Knights of Christ
The spirit of innovative financial strategies first pioneered by the Knight's Templar which where the first international financial banking system of man kind will be the same spirit and conviction that will allow us all to change the world. I have just seized control of the group. I will write the group description in 24 hours. This will be unlike any other Bitcoin meetup ever in the history of Bitcoin Meetups. We are not focusing on decentralized technologies here, we are focusing on centralizing technologies for I firmly believe after what happened at Mtgox that "you cannot protect what you cannot control". At Kraus Industries we take our work and mission to make the world a better place very seriously. We believe that blockchain technology is just the beginning to transforming the most fundamental aspects of human commerce and global trade and development. However, we do not focus exclusively on Bitcoin or any other alternative digital currency for we have seen it's potential vulnerabilities and flaws first hand. We believe Bitcoin or any other digital currency is just one out of the three important pillars of human commerce. The other two being military/defense and human health. Both of which are tied into a a centralize authority managing those important pillars of civilization until we can finally achieve the singularity and allow an AI to make decisions we cannot to this day optimize.
This new approach to digital currency is why we are the first Bitcoin company to begin working with the World Health Organization (WHO), UNAIDS and the United Nations (UN) in Geneva, Switzerland. Pictured in my profile is the Under Secretary General Michel Sidibe who also serves in the capacity of Executive Director for UNAIDS. In the history of the United Nations which emerged after World War II, there has never been a 25 year old hired as a consultant to the United Nations. It is an honor and privilege to serve the greater good of humanity and it is a role I take incredibly seriously. The world is about to go about a paradigm shift in strategy and governance. The United Nations Summit to adopt the post-2015 development agenda is scheduled for September 25th, 2015-September 27th, 2015 and will take place at the United Nations headquarters in New York City and convened as high-level plenary meeting of the General Assembly. The Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) expire this year and a direction and world order will begin culminating in the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). For further information please visit:
