On February 17, 2013, a group of strangers met up on two lone courts with tennis rackets in hand and great attitudes to boot and got their fresh air and cardio in for the day. Along its brief but fulfilling, 2-month run, bonds were formed and skills were cultivated. With Spring and Summer in full swing, Southern Highlands Tennis at Somerset Hills Park is BACK!
Come out for Singles, doubles or practice, matching participation and interest. Please RSVP to this event (with integrity) no later than 8 PM the Saturday prior to the event. And please remember to bring sun protection, tennis balls, and a great attitude. Hope to see some new and familiar faces out on the court!
DIRECTIONS: To get to Somerset Hills Park, get on Highway 160 (Blue Diamond Road) in the southwest. Turn south at Decatur. Proceed south more than two miles on Decatur past Cactus (where Decatur becomes Southern Highlands Parkway). At the first left on Southern Highlands Parkway, turn east on Somerset Hills Avenue. Next, turn at the third right (south) on to Valencia Hill Street. The park will be on the right.
