Hike/Snowshoe at Crabtree Nature Center - 3.5 miles

Let's do the 3 and 1/2 mile hike at Crabtree.

Crabtree has snowshoes and poles available to use for free on a first come, first serve basis. They have about 20 pair available.

We will go to Buona Beef at Higgins and Barrington Rd. for lunch afterwards.

Note: Dogs are not allowed in Crabtree Nature Center.  :-(

See you there!

Sorry gang, I'm in bed with the flu. Just go to the front desk in the building and they will set you up with snowshoes and maps. Have fun!

Hi Russell...sound interesting but at 11 am...wouldnt the early birds snatch up all the free gears? Are the trail ok with normal snow shoes?

We've gone here at 10am and 11am before and very few people have been there. I haven't been there for weeks so I don't know what the trail conditions will be. It will certainly be snowy but I don't know if other hikers have packed down the snow on the trail.
