ActiveFunTennis.com was started to be the Best San Diego Tennis Club--not necessarily the biggest. AFT is the Original San Diego Tennis Club on meetup started in 2006 that offers San Diego tennis players a variety of events that cater to every skill level from Beginners to Advanced players .

• Active: We get up to 20+ players 2x a week!  Average 100+ San Diego Tennis Players online daily.

• Consistent: Two weekly tennis events nearly every week in San Diego for the past 3 years!  More than any other group per week. We've been around the longest since 2006 and are still growing strong.

• Quality: the Most Intermediate and Advanced players so you will improve quick!  We have many Beginners and active Women players too. 

• Variety and Value: We have lots of different tennis events like:

ALL ethnicities, ages, and tennis skill levels are welcome here as long as you're fun and play fair. We play tennis all over San Diego but our group meetings are primarily from La Jolla south to Coronado in central San Diego for convenience to everyone. We have players come from as far away as Carlsbad tennis, La Mesa tennis, El Cajon tennis, and Chula Vista tennis to play with us. You can always e mail someone and  play in your neighborhood or come out and play with our A ctive group twice a week.  Our San Diego Tennis group promotes tennis in San Diego communities such as La Jolla tennis, Clairemont tennis, Mission Bay tennis, Pacific Beach tennis, Del Mar tennis, Hillcrest tennis, Kearney Mesa tennis, Mira Mesa tennis, Ocean Beach tennis, Point Loma tennis, Coronado tennis, Balboa tennis, USTA Tennis, USTA San Diego Tennis and other Tennis associations.    

Tennis costs money. Balls wear out every week or two. Strings break and loose tension. Members get discounts on racquets, strings, balls, and other tennis gear.

Membership Dues cover: FREE Singles & Doubles Ladder, Prizes,  FREE Tennis Clinics, FREE Beach Tennis, website hosting, ladder maintenance, meetup costs.
