Saturday 10:30 am at Westview High School

The routine is to play 5 games no ads and then winners play winners on the next adjacent court. The goal is to be on Court # 1 (Champion Court) or move towards it. Number the courts consecutively (#1, #, 2, etc.). After all courts have played their 5 move towards Court # 1 and non-winners move the opposite direction towards the last court.

Priority - hit and have fun. Please bring a can of balls and plenty of water to slug it out!

Please try to be early or on time to save courts for this large group - if possible. These tennis courts are very busy.

Late Comers- You are welcome to join us, but you may be subject to a small waiting period as these courts are very active on the weekends. More courts open up around 10:30 a.m. or so.

P.S. Ball Policy: if you have not opened a can of balls in a long time, please contribute a can of balls to me to be used ONLY for this Saturday meetup group. Thank you.

Levels are approximate: we have all kids of players and we are always able to make they play as long as they want.

Raye: yes, I wanted to play another couple of hrs yesterday, after 3 hrs, because there was one guy (level 4.5) who played singles with me all these 3 hrs. I always lost 0:6, but it was Lesson Of My Life, and it was FREE! He refused to accept "instructor's" money I offered to him. He is Checkoslovakian guy. Plays here, east side. So, you are absolutely right: I could played another 2-3 hrs with him, but I had to cut it off because it is better to play more often, like Friday, then Saturday, than 7 hrs straight in one swoop. Science demands consistency (not beating the records).
So, you, my Godmother Of Tennis, is correct.
I see that Kevin Chao is looking at our meetups right now. If he signed up for Westview, I would play with you right now (and de-RSVP at Grant). It would have took only one click of Kevin Chao (his RSVP here) for me to go to Westview right now, as I type this. But he did not rsvp at Westview. For today, I have to play on a freeway, breath a little exhaust gasses.

Raye's back, huh? It's a ski day for me, but I'll keep my eyes open for some west side activity again. It's been quite awhile for me.

Hopefully one more person will come out that isn't signed up... :)

I am sure we will play at Westview again when West side people wake up from hibernation and start coming out (of the wood work, of course). But for now, most people are from East side and we have to play here. Grants park tennis courts are located directly on the Freeway! Why don't you try playing on the freeway, inhale the exhaust, enjoy the perpetual noise of the 18-wheelers!
Yes, Westview is Absolutely And Undisputably The Bestest Ever!
But I already signed up for Grant and people are expecting me there. So, no last second change for me. I need a day in advance notice so that people do not expect me anywhere else.
I will drive to Westview one thousand miles,
and I will drive there one thousand more,
just to see the geese and the hawk
just to listen to the birds
just to see the mountains and hills
just to see the pine trees reaching the sky.
