Thursday 6:30 pm at Willamette Park

Hello tennis players!

This meetup is for 3.0 - 3.5 players who want to play mixed doubles.

Levels are approximate: we have all kids of players and we are always able to

make they play as long as they want.

There are usually some open courts and parking at this location but start playing when you arrive. These tennis courts have lights.

If the Willamette Park courts are full, players may wish to play at the Sellwood Park Tennis Courts @ 7th & SW Miller Street (Map link), where there are extra courts and meetups on Thursday evenings.

What to bring: a tennis racket, new tennis balls, water, energy snacks, enthusiasm and respect for your fellow players.

Transportation options: You can take Trimet #35 Macadam bus to this location (Stop ID #3620 southbound on Macadam or Stop ID #3622 Northbound on Macadam) or bike along the Willamette waterfront bike path from downtown ( here's a possible route from PSU to Willamette Park).

How to find us: look for us on the courts. Link to Map of Willamette Park @ 7100 Southwest Macadam Avenue.

Cancellation for weather or less than four Yes RSVP's: this meetup cancels automatically without further notice for inclement weather or if there aren't enough Yes RSVP's for doubles.  Here's a link to the weather forecast.

Thanks for playing!

8 stars (out of possible maximum 5 allowed [by law]). The rafts were parked on the waterfront, full of meth.

Radar shows there might be a near-by cloud full of rain but it might just pass by, most likely.

Wow! It's, like, totally OMG! OMG! Harold is, like, coming to town!
(Just a note: why are there two rafts parked on courts? One is Rick's and the other is? Whose?)

  • Peter's future Doppler radar prediction for next 4 hrs: it looks like it is going to be dry for the rest of the day. Last checked: courts are completely dry now. Rick, we will not charge you for your raft parking nearby (this time).
