Tuesday 6:00 pm at Willamette Park

(Evening tennis: I suggest you bring mosquito repellant).

If the Willamette Park courts are full and we are not there, it means we are playing at the Sellwood Park Tennis Courts @ 7th & SW Miller Street (Map link).

This meetup is for 3.0 - 3.5 players who want to play mixed doubles or singles. We hit around to practice our groundstrokes, then play games, switching partners to induce variety.

Levels are approximate: we have all kinds of players and we are always able to make them play as long as they want.

Willamette courts have lights: you can play all night long.
There are usually some open courts and parking at this location.  These tennis courts have lights.

What to bring: a tennis racket, tennis balls, water, energy snacks, enthusiasm and respect for your fellow players.  Play nice! :)

By 6:01 at Willamette we had a court, by 6:15 we had 2 courts and we enjoyed much play time until 9:15 for that 4 of us that lasted. Good that the Sellwood splinter folks got to play...tennis when there is no rain is all that matters!

Looks like some of us played at Willamette and the others at Sellwood. Sellwood worked great for me! Thanks, Scott, for notifying us that you were there.

2 courts have been available for the last hour or so. We have been playing. Great day. Perfect weather.

Three courts available at Sellwood, I'll be at the lower one. If you're coming from Willamette, overshoot the Sellwood bridge and do a u-turn or you might try the Ross Island because the southbound approach to the Sellwood is really backed up.

Just finally made home, I wouldn't make it there in any reasonable amount of time

The courts are full so I'm headed to Sellwood Park.

Guess it'll depend on the weather, eh? If dry, I will likely be closer to 6:30 arrival.
