Lindsey Stirling Live in Concert (Washington, DC)

Rare concert opportunity coming to Washington DC for anyone interested. This event is standing room only.

YouTube sensation Lindsey Stirling is perhaps the first – and only – artist in the world to blend classical violin, modern dance, and…The Legend of Zelda?!

Lindsey composes, choreographs, and directs all of her original music and videos -- merging unique violin stylings and electronic dub-step beats with animated contemporary dance.

She appeared as a finalist on “America’s Got Talent,” performed more recently at video game convention E3, and has played globally in such places as London, Italy, and Kenya. Lindsey’s first headlining performance at historic Webster Hall in New York City sold out in a matter of days.

Every performance in her Fall tour last year sold out completely. If you are interested in coming to this performance (which is general admission standing room only), you can purchase tickets here:

http://www.ticketfly.com/purchase/event/194261

Tickets are $20 (No need to buy a parking ticket)

See videos below to get a taste of what to expect.

I'll be carpooling from Virginia Center Commons Regal Commonwealth 20 Theater at 4:00 PM on Wednesday. The early start time is to beat (or at least compensate for) the traffic heading to DC. The plan is to carpool to the Springfield-Franconia Metro Station, and then take the Metro to the venue to completely avoid trying to drive in DC. However depending on the number of people, we may carpool all the way. Will decide as the event draws closer.

Too difficult for me to make out of town events or late events during a work week.
