Sharing food is the idea but also optional, no pressure, just bring enough for you to eat and drink and if you feel like bringing exta stuff to share, that will be kind of you. Look forward to meeting you.

I turned up in Queen Square. Asked two large groups if they were the cooking club picnic, neither were. I emailed Liz twice and waiting around until 13.50 pm looking for more large groups of people having food.after that walked around for a bit before heading back.
Maybe there should have been a better way for newcomers to find everyone.
I was really looking forward today and meeting one or two of you who have messaged or liked my comments.
Well hopping to now see you at the bus station for the Weston trip. Hope I will be able to find the club as I do know where in Weston we need to go.

I think i did all i had to to make it easy for people to find me, i put my mobile number in the site before the event took place, i used balloons for people to find us, we were there Claudine, a group of people having food as you can see in the pics that show we were there, i am sorry if after walking around for about an hour, you still didn't find us, it is a shame you happen to miss that one group having food in the square. We'll try harder next time! sincere apologies for not making it easier for you.

I can bring along some slow-roasted pork belly strips to share. I picked the pork up from yesterday's picnic in Bath (with the Bath and Bristol Everything Group), slow roasted these in cider with herbs.

I also have a large quantity of disposable cutlery to bring along for sharing, also from yesterday's picnic!

Hey claudine, that sounds a good idea, if is more than 8 people, like 10 to 15, then we could do hire a kitchen in one of the community centres like st Werburgs and ahre the cost of the kitchen hire. We will think about this in September/October.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
