Tea Party, Libertarians, and Christian Theocracy

We need to be careful with associating the Libertarian Party with religious nutcases who want to impose a theocracy in the US by using the name "Tea Party" as if it has anything to do with Liberty.
Samuel Adams and his original Boston Tea Party was designed to impose a Christian theocracy in the US to replace the Church of England and drive out the Catholic churches imposed on people in Canada by the British. Adams initially built his career as the local tax collector. After driving the British out and establishing the US and Massachusetts constitution, Samuel Adams then tried to set up theocracies whereby people would be forced to pay taxes to fund Christian pastors in state mandated and state funded religious congregations.
Libertarians tend to overlook the Christian Theocratic motive behind all of Samuel Adams' actions.
