Meeting to give input on use of Neighborhood Parks Bond money - August 19, 6-8pm, City Hall Rm. 305

From: Starchild
Sent on: Friday, August 14, 2009 5:51 PM
The 2008 Clean and Safe Neighborhood Parks Bond allocates $5 million
for a"Community Opportunity Fund." This fund will allow park groups to
partner with RPD on capital improvements in their park. At this moment,
the program's criteria are still being developed, so it is crucial
that park
groups offer feedback on the formation of the Opportunity Fund.

On August 19th, NPC is partnering with the Trust for Public Land (TPL)
and the San Francisco Parks Trust to give the public an opportunity to
learn more about the work of the Opportunity Fund Task Force and offer
input on the implementation of the Fund. We hope that you'll join us for
a lively discussion on shaping this very important program.

When: Wednesday, August 19th 6-8pm
Where: City Hall Room 305
Who: Hosted by NPC, TPL and the San Francisco Parks Trust, in
with RPD
