Q in this Qlub is for 'Quality' and 'Quotient'. Emile Peynaud (1912-2004), the famous oenologist believed that only by educating our palates could we raise the standards of wine. So just by learning about wine we can not only improve our own tastes but raise the quality bar for wine.


Here, in Niagara, we have some of the best growing conditions for wine grapes. This group is not only for learning about and falling in love with our local wines but appreciating the wines from the rest of the world that inspire ours.


And of course wine would be nothing without culture. Wine is a product of a country's history as much as its physical and social geography. When we drink a wine produced in France, Italy, Spain, Germany, Portugal and here in Ontario, we imbibe a part of that world and appreciate the cultural philosophies as much as the different approaches to wine.


So let's make our wine appreciation a fun JOURNEY!
