Chocolate Festival @ The Southbank Centre (And/Or pub trip afterwards!)

  • Dec 9, 2012 · 2:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

The Chocolate Festival is back at the Southbank Centre!

For the 9th year, The Chocolate Festival will be returning to fill us all up with way too much chocolate. (If you think there's no such thing, you've never tried to try all of the samples at a chocolate festival...)

The festival gives you the chance to sample chocolates from all sorts of fantastic chocolatiers, including L'Artisan du Chocolat, Damian Allsop, Hotel Chocolat, Paul A Young, Rococo, and William Curley. It also gives you the chance to chat with some of these chocolatiers and try all sorts of sweet and savoury chocolate dishes.

Being so close to Christmas, this festival also gives you the chance to buy extra presents for people - or if you'd prefer, for yourself!

Come and join us as we explore the festival, then come with us afterwards as we find a warm pub to go and sit in where we can talk about all of the things we tried - and about everything else, of course!

This event is completely free, leaving you with more money to spend on all of the chocolates you can't resist!

You can view more about the festival here: http://www.festivalchocolate.co.uk/festivals/london/

When we're finished at the festival, you have the option to come along to the pub where you can socialise with other members. The pub is TBC as it largely depends on numbers, but will of course be somewhere where we can get a good meal as well if you'd like! You don't have to come along to the pub afterwards if you don't want to (but last time we went to the pub after a festival we had a huge turnout and basically took over the pub, with most of us staying til closing, so you'll be missing out if you don't!) and if you'd just like to come along to the pub but not the festival itself that's fine too, just make a mention of this when RSVPing!

Hi everyone. Just wanted to say I went to Winter Wonderland last night and visited the Grenadier on the group's recommendation. Great pub! Thanks for the tip!

It was very busy and I thought there would be more samples, I also thought the chocolate was quite expensive.
I enjoyed going to the pub afterwards and meeting people.

Got there very late due to my guest flaking out on me well after 14:00 and, therefore, didn't get to see anyone. Still enjoyed myself, by myself.
