Our one year Anniversary Mystery event revealed: http://reelrocktourny...
One year anniversary bash to celebrate the adventures we shared and to be shared with the REEL ROCK FILM TOUR, Gear Swap and Happy Hour in Brooklyn.
Reel Rock delivers the year’s most exciting climbing and adventure films to audiences in over 100 cities around the world.
Reel Rock founders Josh Lowell and Peter Mortimer have been producing and directing climbing and adventure films for over a decade, with devoted audiences around the world. Their work has been featured on NBC, NPR, and The New York Times, and has won a Sports Emmy Award, plus dozens of awards at international film festivals.
After organizing small tours for their individual film releases, Lowell and Mortimer realized the huge demand for exciting live events in the outdoors community and combined forces to create The Reel Rock Film Tour in 2006. By 2008 the tour had grown into one of the biggest climbing events in the world, with over 90 shows and more than 20,000 attendees.

Almost 2 weeks to the date & we are 33 people with no idea what we will be doing, lol.
:D
I will bring at least couple pairs of crampons - I have 8 pairs of them now, yeah, 5 stoves, 3 water filters, and many many outdoor items, some passive protections, slings - I am sure I will raise enough money to buy drinks for our organizers except Anunta!
Hey, why except me? I think I need not one, but at least 2 drinks!
BTW, I think TNA is well on track to hit 1500 members by October!
Seating is limited - my advice is purchase tickets early!
I'm a little disappointed. I figured this event would be one of those outdoor orgies that TG is always bragging about. O_o
LittleField - 100 seats, Anthology Film Archives - 180 seats and both are open to public via various channels so please get your ticket first before its sold out!
New Prize added: A Gift certificate for free guided climbing in the Gunks or Catskills for rock or ice climbing (valid from 10/1/2009 to 10/1/2010) from the best guide services in the Gunks - The Alpineendeavors.

i probably can't stay for the film screening... should i still buy a ticket?
Tent & Trails: 1 or 2 sets of Metolius Ultralight TCU Pack Set (4 cams plus lube) and 10% discount.
Jooy, we do the drawing during the intermission. As for the ticket, you need to get the ticket to get in to the place. We have over ONE THOUSAND dollar worth of prizes, over 25 different prizes for only 120 people to do the drawings. So, if the math is correct, $14 is the cheapest ticket you can ever buy in NYC! If you win any of those prizes you can sell it to those whoever into rock/ice/mountaineering right away at even half price, you get your money doubled!@
The Happy Hour and Gear Swap starts 5:30, the film stars 7:30, and prizes/giveaway happens during the intermission. So you can come anytime before the intermission (around 8:15?) to inter the drawing with your tickets (will call).
New Prize: Mammut: Mammut usk Duraflex 60 Meter Rope ($200 value)
If you missed this show please come to Anthology Film Archives in Manhattan, Oct. 19th for the last chance to see the film in NYC this year. We will have more prizes and giveaways: http://www.meetup.com/the-next-adventure/calendar/1152018...![]()

My guessing is TNA will break 1,500 membership mark even with 15-20% rejection rate.
