Our one year Anniversary Mystery event revealed: http://reelrocktourny...

One year anniversary bash to celebrate the adventures we shared and to be shared with the REEL ROCK FILM TOUR, Gear Swap and Happy Hour in Brooklyn.

Reel Rock delivers the year’s most exciting climbing and adventure films to audiences in over 100 cities around the world.

Reel Rock founders Josh Lowell and Peter Mortimer have been producing and directing climbing and adventure films for over a decade, with devoted audiences around the world. Their work has been featured on NBC, NPR, and The New York Times, and has won a Sports Emmy Award, plus dozens of awards at international film festivals.

After organizing small tours for their individual film releases, Lowell and Mortimer realized the huge demand for exciting live events in the outdoors community and combined forces to create The Reel Rock Film Tour in 2006. By 2008 the tour had grown into one of the biggest climbing events in the world, with over 90 shows and more than 20,000 attendees.

My guessing is TNA will break 1,500 membership mark even with 15-20% rejection rate.

I will bring at least couple pairs of crampons - I have 8 pairs of them now, yeah, 5 stoves, 3 water filters, and many many outdoor items, some passive protections, slings - I am sure I will raise enough money to buy drinks for our organizers except Anunta!

I'm a little disappointed. I figured this event would be one of those outdoor orgies that TG is always bragging about. O_o

Jooy, we do the drawing during the intermission. As for the ticket, you need to get the ticket to get in to the place. We have over ONE THOUSAND dollar worth of prizes, over 25 different prizes for only 120 people to do the drawings. So, if the math is correct, $14 is the cheapest ticket you can ever buy in NYC! If you win any of those prizes you can sell it to those whoever into rock/ice/mountaineering right away at even half price, you get your money doubled!@

The Happy Hour and Gear Swap starts 5:30, the film stars 7:30, and prizes/giveaway happens during the intermission. So you can come anytime before the intermission (around 8:15?) to inter the drawing with your tickets (will call).

BASH-TASTIC! happy hour and premiere. Amazing feats caught on film, achieved by passionately dedicated climbers. Alex (dressed in plaid ;) displayed both metal and physical strength and determination, climbing over 2000 ft solo! Impressive to watch, terrifying to contemplate. Give it up for the geek! Of course glad to chat with all my TNA buds, and thanks to Littlefield for providing the A+ beverages and venue. Scariest thing to watch all night though... Dan being handed an axe!
