Introduction
I'm an avid wilderness backpacker, have done Wilderness First Aid and planned and led my own trips for Desert Survivors. My navigation skills suck, though.
What, if any, is your prior backpacking experience? Where have you been, and where would you like to go? Are you available for a week or more for an excursion in the summer? What information, ideas or expertise can you bring to this group?
Avid backpacker, former trip leader and board member for Desert Survivors, a nonprofit desert backpacking club. I like to go where I'm not going to see other people, otherwise I may as well stay in the city. Trail signs are for sissies.
