Hi! I'm looking to join a Kirkwood ski lease for the 2011 - 2012 ski season. I'm interested in mid-week as well as weekend stays. Does anyone know of any availability?

Thanks!

A few folks expressed an interest in this. Why not organise one?

I've never been part of a ski lease - only a guest of my friends in their ski leases. I'd rather not bear the responsibility of organizing one when I haven't had the experience of having one yet.

I haven't organized one either but am interested in joining this season if anyone else expresses interest...north or south Tahoe is fine with me.

I'd be up for joining a ski lease in South Tahoe...got a pass for Kirkwood. I have some info for a few places and would be up for organizing if we can find enough people.

Christine,
Can you give a general description of the leads you have?
What are the price ranges? How many beds?
What is the term of the lease?
This might help folks engage.
Thanks,

One of the meetup groups that popped up on the left as I was reading the thread was for a Bay area ski group that has quite a few ski leases that are looking for people including in South Tahoe: http://snowpals.org/s...
Might be easier to look there to join one than setting one up.

Thanks Bethany, I saw those on snowpals as well. Hamish, there are a few places listed on snowpals that are smaller, but I also know about a few 5 BR places that can fit between 12-20 people for Jan through April for $10,000 to $16,000, so would be somewhere around $1000 per person for the season.
