We still have 2 open spots on our permits (total of 6 people) for a 5-days trip into Hoover and Yosemite.

The trip starts at Twin Lakes trailhead in Hoover Wilderness, enters Northern Yosemite at Peeler Lake, to Benson Lake, Matterhorn Canyon, Mule Pass, Crown Lake, then back to Twin Lakes. Total about 50 miles, over 5 days.

It’s open to experienced backpackers who can travel light (not necessarily fast), and can hike about 10 miles a day at 7000-11000 ft elevations. No layover day, no bailout route.

Thursday 30 : Twin Lakes trailhead to Peeler Lake 8 miles
Friday 31: Peeler lake to Benson Lake 11 miles
Saturday 1: Benson Lake to Matterhorn Canyon 11 miles
Sunday 2: Matterhorn Canyon to Crown Lake 12 miles
Monday 3: Crown Lake to Twin Lakes trailhead 9 miles
