It was an intimate gathering of 3 people, other than 2 others at another table with whom we never spoke. I went alone and was disappointed that so few respondents showed up, despite the large RSVP list.

I could not find parking and did not feel comfortable parking so far away and walking alone. Normally I'm pretty fearless but not a good feeling about it last night so went home :(

I've been trying to attend one of these events for over two years. However, due to past health issues, I was unable to attend. Now, that I've been incorporating more raw foods and doing a lot of green juices, I've been feeling a lot better and have seen a big difference it's made in my life. Hoping to learn from so many already in the group and to fast forward my life to better health. Would love to see a Facebook page for The Raw Food Group-Baltimore. If one already exists, please let me know. Thanks!

I too am concerned that too many people have RSVP'd to this event. Since this event was up in the air for so long and I joined at the end, I will change my RSVP to "no".
May I suggest that a second meetup be held at this location? How does Sat, Jan 12 @ 4PM sound? (I'm not an organizer of this group nor have I spoken with them, so I don't know what the requirements are to initiate another meetup.)

I created a second meetup, located at the same venue, but I don't think it will be visible to the group until 3 people RSVP. http://www.meetup.com...

It looks like there is no official organizer for this event. It seems like folks were really wanting to get together and a date was set-which so many people were grateful for. However, I am wondering if some people do not get the daily updates and have not seen the posts that discusss the large number of RSVPs. Can an organizer put out something that goes out to everyone to establish who is still coming. Does anyone have any comments on the idea of spacing out the group for 5, 6 and 6:45? Perhaps some additional co-organizers would help. I am not seeing Kendell or Brian, who are listed as organizers, as being on the RSVP list so I don't know who is able to send something out to everyone to get an update on who is actually planning to come. I may end up bowing out and hope for another time if things are not resolved. It may be, however, that not that many people show up if they don't get reminders.

I've changed my RSVP to no for this event to ease the potential overcrowding situation at the restaurant. Hope to see you all at another meetup in the near future.

Hi, when I saw that 32 people have responded, my first reaction was how great so many people had signed up! Then I remembered another meetup where the restaurant owner flipped out when this huge group came in & no one had called ahead for reservations. So I decided 2 call. I ended up speaking with the owner who shared they don't take reservations & the entire restaurant only seats 40 & there is no way they can handle a group this size. What should we do? She said it is pretty busy on weekends. One thought I had was 2 space folks out, e.g 6 or 7 coming at 5pm; 6 or 7 at 6pm, & 6 or 7 at 6:45 pm. 6:45 is the latest they take orders. That would give us 18-21 seats, assuming we can get seated. So thanks Jenny for checking the web-site. I'd like to do 6 pm if the group thinks this is a workable solution. Anyone who is not coming can change their RSVP. The owner said it is small tables. She did mention that they do tables of 6. What other thoughts does the group have 2 make this work?

I just checked their website (http://www.liquidearth.com/). They are open from 11AM-7PM on Sat, so the meeting time should be made earlier. What is a good time for everyone?

Hooray for someone taking the initiative to selecting a place to eat. I think this is what so many of us are looking for.

Since there wasn't a date for this and so many people wanted to get together and eat here, I picked a date. Hopefully Sat, Dec 1 isn't too far away that people hoping to attend don't already have plans. I was thinking of having it start a little earlier - What are your schedules like?

Like the idea, and suggestions on a date? Also suggest editing as it should read: "How about meeting somewhere were they have raw food in the Baltimore area?"
