When, How, & Why to Pull the Proper Permits When Repairing Houses

[When you RSVP, please donate $5 to help defer the costs. Thanks!]

Hello Ring Members,

We are gearing up for another exciting meeting on the second Tuesday of March.

But first, let me share some positive news with you.  I've been seeing a lot of talk lately that things are turning around!

Check out this bit from the Zillow Blog: Warren Buffett is bullish on U.S. housing.

On CNBC this week, Buffett said: "..if I had a way of buying a couple hundred thousand single-family homes and had a way of managing..."

You can read the full article here:

That's right!  He and a bunch of others are dropping their pessimism and looking toward better times.

You are in the right place at the right time, so start looking up!

Now for our March meeting we're going to hear from long time builder and contractor whose been active in the Greater Baton Rouge market for over 30 years.  Clay Bridges of F.C.B. Companies will share his expertise on keeping your rehab projects legal and within budget.

Mark your calendars and set some time aside.  Bring your Builder/Contractor questions and take advantage to learn from a local expert!

RSVP here:

If you are involved are would like to be involved in rehabbing and selling properties then this is for you:

   > Are you pulling the proper permits?

   > Do you know when a permit is required? Many times it's not!

   > What happens if you don't get the required permit?

   > Are your repairs up to CODE?

   > What happens if they're not?

Hey!  I always say, "Anything is easy if you know which buttons to push!"

So come on out and find out which buttons to push to keep your assets out of hot water and your rehab business running like a well oiled machine.

That's on Tuesday, March 13th at 6:30 pm at Burk Baker's School of Real Estate.
RSVP here:

I look forward to seeing you there!

P.S.  In the past I have mostly absorbed the cost of the room and other trivial costs and occasionally I had everyone donate a dollar or two.  But if you don't mind helping me defer some of these costs, I have the system set up to charge you $5 when you RSVP.  You can simply pay with your credit card online...or you could pay at the door if you choose.  Thank you!
