This Genealogy Meetup Group  was started to support and share sources of information for family tree research. Multiple sources include the census, DNA, workshops, and guest speakers.  The group's name is "Sankofa," a Ghanian word meaning " to go back and reclaim the past."  How can we know where we are going if we don't know where we've been?

We're 16 Sankofa

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
