    A couple of choices:
West to portobello road market in the morning to see if we can pick up a bargain or two... then tube up to The National Gallery for a wander around the paintings and then carry on up to China Town for a drink before we head home...
we head south to Borough Market, wander down Bankside and have a look at the globe, spend an hour or two in Tate Modern and end with a drink looking out over The Thames

£2 to park in the station all day at the weekend or you can try to find somewhere on the road around Longsands if you don't mind a short walk...

How do we feel about changing this To Sat so we don't have to worry about what time we head for home... Discuss

Sounds good to me. Then if we fancy staying longer we can. Or can just head home if we don't.

I am postponing this until after our first payday of the new year, as Christmas is rushing towards us rather fast! Please do continue to post any ideas for attractions or areas of London that you want to explore !

How about we head to London Bridge to have a look around Bankside?
Possible places to visit in the area include The Old Operating Theatre at St Thomas' Hospital, The Golden Hinde II, Clink Prison Museum.
There is also Borough Market to look around, a number of good pubs and fantastic views across the Thames..

Does anyone have any attractions that they would like to see? Some suggestions to get things started (and some of my favourite parts of London)

Science museum, natural history museum, V&A (all South Ken)
    National Gallery (Trafalgar Square)
Globe theatre and Bankside, Borough Market
    Columbia Road market
    Portobello Road market
    Camden Market
Of course there is also the west end for shopping and China town
    Brick Lane for a curry
