Disscussion point for the July Meet-Up and date change due to the 4th holiday

Hello everybody I am looking forward to seeing all of you for the June Meet-Up on June 6, and because of the 4th of July holiday we have to move our meet up to the next wednesday in July to July 11 also we have gone off the book reading in the past with a discussion point and after hearing from a number of regular attendees thats what we will do in july.

In Religion, ethics, and philosophy, the dichotomy good and evil, refers to a location on a linear spectrum of objects, desires or behaviors, the good direction being morally positive, and the evil direction being morally negative. Good is a broad concept but it typically deals with an association with life, charity, continuity, happiness, love, prosperity and justice. Evil is typically associated with conscious and deliberate wrong doing, discrimination designed to harm others, humiliation of people designed to diminish their psychological needs and dignity, destructiveness, and acts of unnecessary and or indiscriminate violence that are not legitimate acts of self defense but aggressive and designed to cause ill being to others. The good and evil of a context represents a personal or subjective judgment, a societal norm, or either’s claim to an absolute value related to the human nature or transcendent religious standard for that context.

so its awfually broad you might say well jot a few things down after taking a look at your surroundings, politics, ethics just how you might feel about current events and lets discuss them and see what is good or evil afterall thats what we do at the Thinkers Club. Make this one a must attend event.

It was horrible. There was no mediator and the founder acted as if he were God since he pays the $200.00 per year for the use of the Library room. He dominates the conversation spewing republican rhetoric. There is nothing to think about you either agree with him or shut up since it's his group. He was talking when I arrived and talking when I go up and left.
