Ausball: Now on Tuesdays!

This is for folks interested in fun way to get outside and get some exercise. The game of Ausball is, by nature, a co-ed game based on Australian Rules Football. It is non-contact, & incorporates many different types of sports including soccer, football, basketball, volleyball, hockey. Players score points by kicking through goalposts on either end of an oval-shaped field. There are two goal posts in the middle, and two shorter ones on each end. Kicking through or bouncing through the middle goal scores 6 points, kicking through the shorter goal posts scores one point, and is called a behind. 1 point is also scored if the ball touches a player or goalpost on its way through. You cannot through the ball at teammate, you must either handball or kick it to be able to advance down the field. Ausball rules also dictate that the ball must go through a female player before a team can score. The official Ausball rules can be found at Ausball.com. No need to RSVP "No," it is understood you can't make it, unless you change your RSVP.

I'll be in Iowa tonight and I usually host volleyball on Tuesdays but will skip that and join you one of these days. I won't even make it to my pickleball meetup next Monday because I'll be working in Sioux City again.
