Have you been struggling with deciding to pursue your passion and make it your career or are you working in your business to make ends meet?
Statistically speaking, Vancouver has one of the highest percentages of self-employed per capita so chances are you could be starting to pursue(ing) your passion or in a day job dreaming to get out.
Are you passionate about your work right now?
Are you tired and drained after a day’s work?
Do you dread your ‘day job’ and tell yourself it’s only until your dream business takes off?
Are you distracted by your hobby so much so that it affects your job?
Would you like to start a business around your passion?
Are you on the path towards creating a business around your passion?
This very special discussion panel will attempt to answer the question of Passion versus Business: do you pursue your passion as a business or do you keep your business because it pays the bills?
The discussion will be moderated by Ronald Lee (Ronald Lee Studios, Elevated Marketing).
Ronald recently decided to narrow his marketing business offerings and make photography and videography a prominent part of his business, a decision he struggled with for a long time. He is a Google photographer and has a skill set in many types of personal/commercial photography and has created several offerings to the business community, including a “Marie Forleo style Visual Branding Package”.
He will be moderating a panel discussion which includes expert coaches:
Iman Aghay, who chose to pursue his passion of helping entrepreneurs who want to make a positive difference in this world reach more customers and market better. He created the Marketing Mastery Summit, which he now operates in cities across Canada.
Marshall Stern, who operates a successful signage company but found that it no longer lit his fire so he became a successful business leadership coach and recently created The Business Inner Circle online community.
Rebecca Beaton, who has always pursued her passions: as an environmental educator, a sustainability consultant, and even a hula hoop designer, only to find those passions were not quite on the mark. She has now found success pursuing her passion of coaching to help others get clarity & design businesses and careers in alignment with their greater purpose.
The panel discussion will include the audience and discuss such topics as:
Can you turn your passion into a business by yourself?
Is your passion even financially viable as a business?
Do you have the economic means/a way to bankroll the development of your passion?
How do you reignite or keep your passion going if you have been working in it for a while?
If you are in business for yourself or are thinking of becoming an entrepreneur, you won’t want to miss this event.
