Those that are interested in taking back our Country need to join, get their friends, neighbors and relatives to join the Nebraska 912 Project group. We need to take back our Country and return it to a Conservative Christian Country. If you live in Sarpy County we have started a Chapter, Conservative 912 Group of Sarpy County, which has the www.sarpycounty912.com web site. We support the Rallies. Our emphasis is to initial action emails, Telephone calls, Letters and Fax's to the Elected Officials to pursue them to vote OUR way the Conservative Way.

If you have grown tired of Tarp, bailouts, higher taxes, Government Motors, stimulus bills, to big to fail concepts, buying oil from people that hate us, socialized healthcare, socialism, breaking contract law in order to refinance morgages for people that bought houses they couldn't afford, then this group is for you.

It's important to voice truth about and to our country, state and local governments. This is a place to learn about current issues and mobilize to accomplish our goals. The size varies based on people's schedules, but the discussion is always lively and informative!

  • The 912 Project-Nebraska

If you are disappointed in the way government is bloated and out of control, this was a perfect venue for a peaceful display and protest. I am sure that the city and county officials were comfortable watching from their windows as all the "extremists" gathered. The time was perfect and parking was very easy. I enjoyed the information that was distributed, including the pocket constitutions. Shane Osborne was wonderful and we were all inspired to know that someone like that is in a major government position. I do beleive that Dawn did such a wonderful job that she should get a huge raise.....heck get a bailout and double her salary!!!!!! The last comment about cleaning up before we left was interesting. I noticed that everyone was looking around for anything to pick up so we were nothing like the idiots at the national mall.

Increased participation helps to focus on the real problems and increases awareness of how we are affected and what we as individuals can do. We do have an impact! You can learn a whole lot! • The 912 Project-Nebraska

It's very well organized and the more one can spread the message maybe someone will listen. I am a new member of this group and am really saddened to hear that Sheila has resigned as the healthcare person and leaving our group. She has done an excellent job and I support her decision under the current conditions. I am sorry to lose her. Lee Terry is our current Congressman and working very hard. He has our best interest at heart. This should not be about politics. It is currently about our healthcare. I do hope that this group can just stick to the issues and leave politics out of all this.

We have made considerable progress since the first attempt to ram this HC legislation down the throats of Americans in June and July. We can turn the tide with greater numbers. If we temporarily lose this battle, we can still win the war and gut this legislation or repeal it if more patriots join us. This is one battle in the war of Individual Rights vs. Socialism. For me, it gives the feeling that maybe we can make a differnce and I think a lot of other talented and energetic people are looking for the same thing. Also, the bigger the numbers, the more resources and talent we will have in making ourselves heard by the politicians in Washington who are not listening now.

  • The 912 Project-Nebraska

If our founding fathers could see how far we've drifted off track they would be so shocked. We have turned into a country that is run by the politicians, not the people. The politicians feel as they are there for their benefit, not ours and we don't have a voice. We need to get back to the people calling the shots. We are turning into a 'solialist', not 'capitalist' country. If we would have term limits on the Congress & Senate they wouldn't be as comfortable in their positions, we would have a wider variety of occupations and lifestyles as our representatives rather than lifetime representatives where the only job they've ever had is that of a politoician.

  • The 912 Project-Nebraska

Alexis de Tocqueville wrote in 1848: "Democracy extends the sphere of individual freedom, socialism restricts it. Democracy attaches all possible value to each man; socialism makes each man a mere agent, a mere number. Democracy and socialism have nothing in common but one word: equality. But notice the difference: while democracy seeks equality in liberty, socialism seeks equality in restraint and servitude."

  • The 912 Project-Nebraska

The turnout at the viewing party was great! So encouraging. Can't wait til the next meeting. We need to get started ASAP taking action. It sounds like others have some good ideas, I have a few ideas myself. How about early to mid April for our next meeting? A Sunday afternoon or evening? I think Dawn's e-mail said someone suggested Mahoney Park? That might be a good location, since they have several meeting rooms. And they probably have needed items like a microphone and enough chairs, etc. I too think if possible we want one meeting room big enough to hold everyone. Fox and Hound was great, and the two separate rooms there was unavoidable, since the location had to be arranged in advance, and we ended up with such a huge and unexpected turnout. But now that we know how many of us there are, maybe we can try to get one room big enough to hold everyone. Just some thoughts.....I just can't wait to meet again and get started with taking our country back!!
