Dr. Scott Lively is the founder and president of Defend the Family International and has been since 1997. An attorney, pastor and human-rights consultant, he has promoted and defended the biblical view of marriage and family in more than 30 countries. He is the author of five books, including "The Pink Swastika: Homosexuality in the Nazi Party."

On Monday, Janurary 7, 2013 Pastor Lively's team of lawyers led by Liberty Counsel argued a motion to dismiss in Federal District Court in Springfield MA. An overflow crowd packed the courtroom.

Lively's is charged with "crimes against humanity.".

This case stems from a mission trip Pastor Lively took to Uganda. The Soros sponsored pro-homosexual group "Center for Constitutional Rights" filed the lawsuit against Pastor Lively in International Court.
