Starting time will be 1 PM, on Friday, May 17, beginning near the Capitol (location to be announced next week) and finishing at Upper Senate Park.
They have secured a block of rooms at the Renaissance D.C. Downtown Hotel, 999 Ninth Street NW, Washington, DC, 20001 at $149 per night. After that rooms will be released to the general public. This is high season in D.C., so if you wish to stay elsewhere we encourage you to reserve early.
If you plan to arrive a day or two before, we want to encourage you to set an appointment with your local legislators to meet with them prior to the march to personally discuss reforms in the international adoption process. They will have a hospitality room at the Renaissance for you to stop in to review talking points with your legislators.
