Sarpy County Pachyderm Luncheon Announcement

June 20th, Thursday

Noon

Hy-Vee in Shadow Lake

Highway 370 at 72nd Street

Shadow Lake Towne Center

Now centrally located in Sarpy County

Our speaker on that Thursday will be:

Senator Jim Smith

Representing District 14

Senator Smith is a strong conservative voice in the Nebraska Unicameral. He will give us an over view of the last session and point out what was good and what was bad. If you want to have a sense of where the state is headed you will want to be at this meeting and ask questions. He was one of the 17 Senators that prevented the passing of LB 577 Medicaid Expansion that I was absolutely against as it would have been a back door implementation of Obama Care, the UnAffortable Care Act.

I am proud that Sarpy County had 4 of the strongest Conservative State Senators; Smith, Kintner, Price & Murante, that were on the team of 17.

Senator Bill Kintner is scheduled for the July 18th luncheon. There will be no luncheon on the first Thursday in July as it falls on July 4th

Senator John Murante is scheduled for August 1st luncheon.

August 15th Pete Ricketts

September 5th Senator Price

September 19th is Rich James, Sarpy County Treasurer

Am working on scheduling the State Officials, our Congressmen Fortenberry & Terry, County Officials & Candidates in the 2014 races.

For those who have not attended before, you do not need a reservation.

Our meeting schedule is:

11:45 Social

12:05 Announcements and comments from elected officials, candidates, & party officials.

I hope we can talk about the Senate amnesty bill and the House Tea Party members who are standing up against Boehner and against amnesty. We need to support them.
