Meet Deb Fischer

Greater Omaha Pachyderm Luncheon is Monday
August 26th - Noon
The Garden Cafe in Rockbrook Village
108th & Center Street

Our speaker this Monday will be:

United States Senator
Deb Fischer

A lifelong Nebraskan, Deb Fischer knows about hard work, strong
communities and the Nebraska way of life. Its that background
that lead her to victory in the Senate race.

After only seven months in office, Senator Fischer has been
given a nickname: Hammer.

She defended her decision to join forces with a breakaway group
of Republican senators — led by Mike Lee of Utah and Ted Cruz of
Texas — who have threatened to shut down the federal government
in an effort to end funding for President Barack Obama's signature
health care law.

Senator Fischer defended the plan, saying it was a way to renew
the debate. “It's a way forward with negotiations. It's how I view
it,” she said.

You will want to come to this meeting to hear her experiences of
traversing the mine field that is bipartisanship.

Fischer is missing the ground swell against Obamacare. Senate Conservatives PAC is taking out ads across the country.

Always good to hear from Senator Fischer. She is doing a great job for Nebraska and for America. We need to send her a lot of help.

It was well attended and well worth going. Glad to hear that D.C. hasn't change Senator Fischer, yet.

I enjoyed the luncheon, have never attended these gatherings in the past. It was good to hear Deb committed to stand for principles. I hope she stays strong. Glad we were included in the invite.
