Counter Protest

The global warming activists and alarmists are descending on Omaha. While they continue to use the blatant concocted "science" that "greenhouse gasses" are warming the planet to further their cap and trade agenda, they are planning an unwarranted attack on the Union Pacific Railroad Headquarters in Omaha. Nebraskans for Peace (completely progressive labeling) along with global warming activist Bill McKibben (Democracy Now) will lead a protest over the use of coal energy Thursday morning June 17 in downtown Omaha. The 11:00 a.m. protest will be held in front of the Union Pacific’s corporate headquarters at 14th and Douglas Streets. The top physicists in the world have proven that the "greenhouse" effect is impossible and defies the basic laws of physics. You would have to have a glass dome around the earth for this to happen. The earth may be warming, but it is NOT caused by anything man is, or is not doing. We cannot control the weather. Most of North America used to be covered in 50 feet of ice, man did not melt those glaciers either. The weather changes and the wackos in the global warming "movement" want to use that fact to control your every behavior and take trillions in taxes from us to do it. Now they are protesting U.P. for transporting coal. For anyone available during the day, this is a mission that may be a little less quiet than the Lee Terry protests. Clean coal and natural gas are abundant, clean, and cheap. We have just had the coldest winter in 30 years across America and man did not cause that either. If anyone would like some spirited debate and some sign toting fun on a Thursday morning, the UP headquarters is the place to be!

They are going to push what they don't have yet. Keep those coal trains rolling.

There were 40 of them and 5 of us. They approached us and were civil, but seemed surprised we were there. Got high 5s from several passer bys and maybe influenced a few toward our concerns, but the Greenies are going to promote their agenda, just as we need to promote ours. With proper education and information we can reach the masses and turn our country around. God bless all who showed up to help promote our cause.
