The Red Pill

Last Friday, I was uninvited to future events at the AFP Center by Jeremy Jensen. Evidently, he is upset that I don't like the flavor of kool-aid he is peddling.

I believe that we are rapidly becoming a totalitarian, fascist State, evidenced by a joining or collusion of corporations and government. America will be a regional branch of a one-world government. This is the aim of United Nations Agenda 21, which has been covertly and incrementally implemented world-wide for many decades now. Our elected representatives on a local, state, and national level are being rendered powerless.

I refuse to enter the Right/Left debate. To do so supports either the corporatists, or the socialists. They both represent the two sides of the fascist coin. I reject the arguments of Harry Reid and Mitch McConnell. I ignore both Dinesh D'Souza and Michael Moore. I have equal contempt for George Soros and David Koch.

It seems that Americans for Prosperity are peddling the red pill. Sorry, Jeremy, I'm not swallowing it. I choose to become drug free.

I joined the 9-12 Project-Nebraska because I believe in our Constitution and our national sovereignty. The website states that it is a "non-partisan" group. I wouldn't have joined otherwise. I am disappointed that 9-12 Nebraskans has allowed itself to become influenced by Americans for Prosperity. With their money, they provide a meeting place, and sponsor some useful events. But, it's clear that they use these opportunities to push their political agenda.

I respectfully suggest that 9-12 Nebraskans reconsider it's ties to AFP. If we are to keep the United States of America, the struggle will require ALL of us. I don't believe that Jeremy Jensen should have the power to decide for the 9-12 group who is allowed to participate. Do you?

I don't know all of the specifics about this conflict you're bringing to our attention so I will wait for more information to come, but I do agree with certain points you made.

Completely agree

1. Right-left debate is pointless and plays into the hands of the financial elite.
2. I'm not interested in letting others decide what I think, particularly if they began the relationship by offering me money.

Not in total agreement:

1. The red pill is a good thing, here you have it portrayed as a bad thing. Not saying what they were offering was good, just saying that calling it a red pill would not be appropriate unless it was a good thing.
2. It won't take "all" of us, just 51%.

Randal, I support AFP full heartedly and am really disappointed in your comments. AFP is what it states it is and 9-12 Project-Nebraska is what is. Both are non-partisan. You refer to a political agenda but make no explanation of what you are referring to or what your disagreement is. You also make an analogy which makes no sense. I suppose you are going have fits with Platte Institute for the same sort of reasoning. You should re-evaluate your statements as you appear to merely be sowing divisions among those advocating for freedom.

Randall, AFP does not "influence" the 912 Project. They offer issues based events that people from all walks are invited to attend. As an invited guest to those events, common courtesy is something you should take with you.

You may, or may not agree with their policy position at a particular event, but they are being offered free of charge for your benefit. I happened to think the last meeting that covered citizen journalism was informative and productive.

What is it in particular you seem so riled up about? You use the fabricated word "corporatism" like striving to build or own a business and be successful is a bad thing. Isn't prosperity the natural goal of all people? What exactly was your reason for being kicked out of an event or meeting, did you cause a ruckus?

There are no "pills being peddled", and yes, I understand the Matrix reference. There are factual perspectives being offered to take or leave if you please. Some I agree with, some not so much, but they are at least offering material, time, and effort toward solutions. If you have something better to offer, please feel free. If you just want to tear other efforts down, you might want to ask yourself what good that does without a better solution.

Very well said Michael. I couldn't agree more with you. AFP may be supported by the Kochs but it's certainly not totally supported by them; and who cares, they are putting their money where their mouth is. AFP receives contributions from hundreds of thousands of people, even me. The fact that 912'ers are willing to get into the fight and help to build coalitions is very encouraging and should be honored not scorned. The 912 Project has always been about promoting conservative education and to the extent that AFP can and could have helped, it has. Jeremy Jensen is doing an outstanding job and has been selfless of his time, talents and technology. He has humbly served the cause by commuting every day to Omaha from Lincoln and back again because he realized, as we all have, that the NE 2nd Congressional District is where the fight is and he has bravely stepped into our ranks to help. AFP had Jeremy open the office here, he is in charge of keeping the operation, the volunteers and the events going smoothly and I say, as a former branch office manager, if anyone tries to slow things down, cause disruption or works to undermind activity there, then good for him for putting them out on the curb. It's time to put our egos away and go to work. Good for you Jeremy!

I'm not sure what he is for except maybe himself.

We can't look at details that distort us from the ultimate goal. Dems have a problem with that too.

I don't know who you are, but it sure sounds like you have a problem with the anyone on the Right, period. If you feel so strongly about 'exposing the Right', then why don't you do it, yourself?

I, for one, don't understand why you have a problem with people who are in favor of limited government and economic freedom. Why on earth would a so-called true conservative as yourself try to distance himself (and worse, yet - other conservatives) from other true conservatives such as the good staff and volunteers of AFP? Furthermore, why do you have a problem with people who are trying to expose the lies and hypocrisy of the Left? Do you really believe that the Right is that much worse? Seriously!

I went to that event and found it to be most helpful. Your greatest enemies are not on the Right, they are on the Left. So stop trying to smear your allies and friends and then lying about them to others.

Randall,
I do not understand what your beef is all about specifically, but I have attended functions at AFP and I found them to be informational and helpful. As conservatives we need all avenues we can find to communicate and socialize with like minded people and I do not expect us all to get along and march in lockstep with all of the people associated with a group, especially a diverse bunch of patriots like our 912 Group.

It is amazing to me that with personalities a diverse as I have met at 912 gatherings that we are where we now find ourselves, focused and directed towards our common goals. We must all endeavor to collect and glean any information that will further our collective and personal causes. This is a steep incline that we have all decided to undertake, while we attempt to correct the direction of and restore our great country to its rightful place. This journey has barely begun and we need to swallow hard on our difference of opinions and join together on our similar causes.
God bless the patriots in our 912 group and the USA
