Diplomacy Night

Nathan, the other owner here, wants to play Diplomacy on Saturday night. To get more people and make it better, he's asked me to post it on here and facebook.

We have a scattering of people who are specifically interested in war and largescale strategy boardgames (Axis & Allies, Twilight Imperium, etc.), but don't necessarily get a chance to play them. If they're Tuesday regulars it usually has to do with wake-up time the following day and the focus on Tuesday on other types of games. Ideally, we'd like to have a game night like this one Saturday a month, or so, to give interested gamers a good chance to play them.

Some of the other games that are routinely mentioned include Twilight Imperium, Game of Thrones, and, while not a war game, Descent.

Let me know if you have any suggestions or anything.

I might be interested in coming to some of these,

Depending on the game and other things going on. I will of course rsvp, if I am interested. I believe that this is a great idea to have this, however, you probably need to have an earlier start time depending on the game. Also, you probably need to post it about a week in advance.

    Game On,

    William

Hi everyone. I'm having a benefit concert for Boston and the victims of the tornado in Oklahoma. The concert entitled the iNDie Network Showcase will take place on May 25th at WorkPlay at 8pm here in Birmingham featuring local artist. Just trying to bring awareness to the cause and invite people to come out and enjoy the show. If you're interested you can purchase tickets in advance on the Work Play site and see more info on the Facebook event page. I hope you will come and bring a friend. Thank you.
