For just a little extra we can get the Meeting room (capacity is 100) for Friday Night as well (Oct 8th).
MOVIE: For part of the evening There will be a screening of the Movie "Uber Goober" - a film about gaming and gamers; interviews include Dungeons and Dragons creator E. Gary Gygax, televangelist Bob Larson, author Mike Stackpole, and cartoonist John Kovalic, along with music by "The Great Luke Ski".
WHAT ELSE? I was thinking at least 1 or 2 RPGs going, open gaming, party games or games that get better the more people there are playing (kind of a social...?) OR Could Friday night be the "Formal Gaming Soiree" - wear our fancy duds, play games and attend a movie screening.... OR ??? What say you?
2016 is going to be a year full of board games and you've come to the right place to take part. Our group strives to both a great place for veteran players to get together and play and a perfect gateway for curious newcomers to learn more about the board gaming hobby. Whether your only experience is playing monopoly with your family on Holidays or you own every expansion to Dominion, this group has something for you.
While we are always looking for new places to play games together, we currently have four major game nights that happen on a weekly basis, they are: Monday Nights at Card Addicts in Pelham, Wednesday Nights at the Brookwood Mall, Thursday Nights at Excelsior on Lorna Road in Hoover, and Saturday Nights at Card Addicts in Pelham.
Aside from those, we constantly have fun events added to our calendar such as the Hoover Library Game Night once a month.
