Agree totally on Battlestar Galactica. That is just so fast-paced because you have to manage so many different things, FTL jump prep, crisis cards, space combat, boarding parties, fuel consumption, food, population and morale, all while trying to figure out who the traitor is...there are just so many ways to lose that game.
I've heard alot of praise for power grid and heard it compared to Pandemic. Would love to try it at some point (or Pandemic, for that matter).
The Resistance is similar to the Werewolf party games, right?

Subject: Re: [TheBBG] What games do you play?
I love economic resource games and economic management
games, but, I like a wide range of boardgames and some card games. I, also, love
train games. I go to a convention every January in Chattanooga, TN to play in a
Puffing Billy Tournament.
I have a huge list of favorites. I will just try to
list some. Some old, some new.
My favorite game of all time is Rail Baron. I know
that it is greatly dependent on dice. But, I still love
Then there are these favorites (not in any order),
which I love to play:
Castles of Burgundy
Battle Star Galactica
Silverton: Either version, I think I like the new one
Most crayon railroad games such as Empire
On the Underground
