Book Thing/BMA/Paper Moon Diner/Hampden?

The Book Thing is this groovy non-profit which accepts books for donation and makes those same books available free of charge to any interested party (even or perhaps especially if they are, in fact, an ASS or ASSette). It's FREE! They're open Saturdays and Sundays. Once in the 'hood, one is not far from the Baltimore Museum of Art (also groovy, also free) The inimitable Paper Moon Diner (not free, but tasty and not very expensive) or THE AVENUE, HON! (as in 36th Street in Hampden) Of course we could save this till Christmastime which will be here in about 30 minutes, it would seem, OR if people would like to plan ahead and ferret through their stuff to see if they have books to unload - and spend a bit of time perusing the stacks - then head to one of the other destinations...what do you think?

I love The Book Thing and frankly, having a small group worked great. We enjoyed TBT and then 4 of us went to the PaperMoon - two of us for the first time so that was really fun :)

Most people RSVP'd before the date and other details were set. If you want a remotely accurate estimate, you should cancel this one and make a new event.

Golden West Cafe on The Avenue is yummy, plus their Bloody Marys have Old Bay around the glass!

Book pile is growing. If we don't meet soon I will not be able to leave the house. :)

I vote for a Sunday. About 3/4 mile from The Yabba Pot Cafe, but they close at 6 on Sundays. So, maybe 3pm?
