Just got the email - now through March, First Fridays feature a discounted admission to the MD Science center including admission to the IMAX Theater, which is usually an "add-on" I think. $8 for you non-members - of course if you are a member it's FREE. (JI advocate the join option - it's cheap and it's tax-deductible)
So heck YAH, I'll be there at 5, bein's that I'm off on Fridays and am going to Baltimore Soundstage later. Here's a tip for cheap parking - Key Highway south of the American Visionary Art Museum - meters are through 10 PM but only a quarter per hour. Once you make that sharp turn on Key Highway towards the Inner Harbor it's $2/hour 24/7! It makes THIS cheapskate-ASSette just crazy!
I know it's short notice - sorry - I just saw it. And I DO intend on another Heavy Seas Brewery tour one of these Saturdays, once this election is over. However, these First Friday deals are through March. Seems like the Aquarium does the same thing, so watch for a meetup to visit the Aquarium for cheap-cheap!
Maybe afterward we can mosey somewhere like the Pratt St Ale House to quaff liquid beverages awhile. Not sure when my Soundstage gig starts but I'd consider quaffing liquid beverages from Pratt St Ale House or something similar to be an excellent use of my time.
So c'mon out if you like, I don't know what's at the IMAX but so what - it's always fun, hon.
