"Jon Winokur's definition of a curmudgeon describes me to a T. Like Music, esp. Rock. Want intelligent conversation. Concerned about Global Warming's impact on other species--my species needs to clean up it's act. Dreamer, fun-loving, intense...."
The group is more active than it used to be. The variety of activities has expanded. But I'm not sure that it has yet met it's original concept of intelligent conversation, which is what attracted me to it. Though the conversation was good and not the typical "pick-up" type of conversation that many meet-up groups have when they meet at bars and restaurants. Linda seems to be trying really hard as assistant organizer. The people who came seemed nice, though I didn't get to talk with the ones at the other end of the table. Oddly, for such a large group the payment of the check worked out really well with more money than the basic bill + tax and 18% tip for a large group. So, anyone looking for a nice group of intelligent people will find the group interesting and varied.
