Ass Linda and all ASSes,

March 7th is fine with me. My work schedule has me working until 6 p.m., but after that I'm golden and certainly able to host a totally gnarly gaming event! Lest of course it sounds like you might have inklings of catching Jerry Garcia that night...? Okay, okay -- now I'm picking up what you're putting down -- that you'd rather not schedule the Games Night for March 7th. Otherwise, we could schedule Games Night at chez Ass Mike for around the Ides of March (really spooky...) on March 14th. How's that sound?

All ASSes:

That's when I will host Hampden ASS Games Night, at my house -- 1416 W 37th St, zip code: 21211 -- March 14th evening (post 6 p.m. at anytime is fine with me). Come one, come all to Chez Ass Mike for a totally awesome evening filled with game-apolooza and food-aploooza fun!!

If games bore you, I also have a quite a wealth of movies (on antiquated-DVD format...) and an okay television, too. Also, please tell me what you all might be bringing, with the exception of ASS Linda, who I now know is cooking a kick-ass vegetarian ratatouille. That dish must bring us back to our discussion around the dinner table at Bluestone post-excitement from Saturday evening, right, to honor little Houdini, my former pet rat, right...? Coordination is good regarding food items pot-lucked to a supper, in my opinion. Also, I'll try and cook a couple dishes for the event as well as being the hostess with the mostess.

Thus, please let me know, or provide me with an idea, of what you all are bringing so I can mark it off the list, as necessary.

Hope I've covered everything pertinent in this missive...and see you all on March 14th!!

~Ass mike

ps Please let me know if I've left something out...

Sounds good! I'm useless as far as knowing what to bring, though.

hmm...Ben? Can't say I remember meeting him...Are you sure he played laser tag with us...?

jk!! He's totally invited! He'd add a lot to our gaming fun!! Also, he seemed to even laugh at some of my less obvious wisecracks, so I appreciate the guy and his sense of humor!

See you both on March 14th!!

I'll be there on March 14th for sure!

I will bring some Pie or something Pi related in honor of Pi day. Did you want us to bring non-food items like games or movies or napkins as well?smile Can't wait!

Nell,

Thanks for the rsvp! Certainly, we could play napkins and glasses and silverware, but I've found actual structured games to be much more fun, personally. Certainly, you might have other opinions, but I think I speak for the group when I ASSume we wouldn't like to play napkins and silverware, et al so much.

ASS far as movies, I have probably close to 200 or possibly somewhere around in that ballpark of DVD's -- all porn, naturally -- just kidding!, so that shouldn't be a problem. Plus, I heard ASS Linda's possibly bringing "Dogma," that a number of people requested to see, ASS well.

A pie or something of the sort should be fine to bring...and see you on the Ides!

I am back, and ready for March 14th gaming!

What could I bring? Keeping in mind that anything requiring preparation will probably explode.

I vote that Harrison bring beverages which have been made and bottled by others. LOL or something from the deli

What's the scoop on alcohol - BYOB and just stay reasonably sane (as in, probably no "instant margheritas" or celebratory shots of mescal at the end of a victorious round of some game or another?)

I'll have a supply of whhheat beverages on hand for your beveraging pleasure. In addition, you can certainly bring ASSorted other beverages of your choosing and pleasure.

Also, just a note regarding the actual games -- since we're all so "Anti-social," I trust everyone will be bringing various Solitaire games to play on their own at my domicile...? Just wondering...and thinking outloud, possibly...

See everyone on the 14th!
