James Bond 007: The 50th Anniversary Series at the Alex Theatre

From Sean Connery to Daniel Craig, James Bond has entertained and wowed audiences with his suave maneuvers, both in the call of duty and between the sheets. The Alex Theatre presents five Bond favorites for you to enjoy on the big screen, each with a Q&A session featuring stars of the films, including George Lazenby who played the super spy in On Her Majesty's Secret Service and many others.

April 2, 2013: Licence to Kill
Shortly after an important drug bust, CIA Agent Felix Leiter is married, but when the drug lord he arrested escapes, kills his wife and mutilates Leiter, his old friend, British Agent James Bond, seeks revenge. When 'M' orders 007 to drop the matter and start a new assignment, Bond deserts Her Majesty's Secret Service and embarks on a world-wide personal vendetta to kill those responsible. The film features: Timothy Dalton (James Bond), Carey Lowell (Pam Bouvier), Robert Davi (Franz Sanchez) and Talisa Soto (Lupe Lamora)

April 9, 2013: Octopussy
Octopussy is the 13th James Bond film and the sixth to star Roger Moore. After a replica Fabergé egg is found on an assassinated agent, Bond is sent to India to infiltrate a circus gang led by Octopussy (Maud Adams, the only Bond girl actress to make a second leading appearance). 007 soon discovers a connection between the priceless Fabergé egg, an elaborate smuggling operation, and a meeting with Renegade Russian General Orlov, who plans on detonating a nuclear device at Octopussy's circus as part of his plan to force an American withdrawal from its bases in Western Europe, allowing the Soviets to dominate the continent. The film features: Roger Moore (James Bond), Maud Adams (Octopussy) and Louis Jourdan (Kamal Khan).

April 16, 2013: On Her Majesty's Secret Service 
Secret Agent James Bond (George Lazenby) again confronts the infamous arch-villain and SPECTRE chief Ernst Stavro Blofeld (Telly Savalas), who is planning a biological-warfare assault on the entire world by introducing sterility spores into the world's agricultural supplies. Bond meets his match in a beautiful, intelligent and enchanting woman, Tracy Draco, whom he had rescued from an attempted suicide by drowning. Through Tracy's international Mafioso-ish father, Bond gains entry into Blofeld's incredible Swiss-mountain stronghold to foil Blofeld's attempt to rule the world...but at great cost. The film features: George Lazenby (James Bond), Diana Rigg (Tracy) and Telly Savalas (Blofeld).

April 23, 2013: Diamonds Are Forever
When he discovers that his arch-enemy is stockpiling the world's supply of diamonds for use in a deadly laser satellite, secret agent James Bond sets out to thwart the madman with help from beautiful smuggler Tiffany Case. The film features: Sean Connery (James Bond), Jill St. John (Tiffany Case), Charles Gray (Blofeld), Lana Wood (Plenty O'Toole) and Trina Parks (Thumper).

April 30, 2013: Live and Let Die 
Roger Moore debuts as suave secret agent James Bond, who's sent to the United States to go after a master criminal scheming to take over the country by turning the populace into heroin junkies. Paul McCartney provides the Oscar-nominated title tune. The film features: Roger Moore (James Bond), Yaphet Kotto (Kananga/Mr. Big), Jane Seymour (Solitaire) and Gloria Hendry (Rosie). 

Event includes a Q&A with appearances by Gloria Hendry (Rosie) and David Hedison (Felix)
