Too far. I like "sweating" distance unless they have raised the stage too high (as they often do at the Ahmanson and Pantages). I don't do groups at these two theatres as the pickings are slim even when I search many dates for a stray single ticket. Good Luck, but I will pass for smaller theatres with general admission.

Okay, I spoke to the group sales at the Ahmanson, re Follies.
Here’s the info re orchestra:
Subscribers take the whole front Orchestra, except for a scattered ticket here and there.
The group sales pertain to REAR orchestra – R and back
From R to W, the group rate is $64 / ticket Saturday matinee and Sunday matinee and evening, and $56 / ticket on Friday, and the rest of the week nights. (Saturday night isn’t eligible for any discount)
From W to ZZ, the group rate is $49/ ticket Saturday matinee and Sunday matinee and evening, and $41/ ticket on Friday, and the rest of the week nights.
A good date, for example, is June 2, 2012, where they have a bunch of center seats in row T, and a lot of seats around that.
Therefore, the question is: Is R and back acceptable to you?
Personally, for me (HeathCliff), I like sitting right at the front, so I wouldn’t be interested in that far back.
Let me know.
