Meet Mama for a Pretty...Philanthropic Black Doll Affair -Books For Africa!

This is a Black Doll Philanthropic Affair open to Community Service Dolls & Black Dolls! What's the difference between a Community Doll and a Black Doll? Black Dolls are identified in public by their Black Doll T-shirts-aka Public Appearance Gear {PAG}. Community Dolls don't have Black Doll T-shirts. They participate in online affairs and select community service affairs. This is one of those select Affairs. Wanna do it all? Become a Black Doll! No BDA Membership fee, just get your Black Doll Public Appearance Tee! Community Dolls FIRST become a Black Doll, then place your YES RSVP. Black Doll Public Appearance Tees are at www.blackdollaffairstore.com here

Philanthropic Service Opportunity with: Books for Africa! Looking for a fun, satisfying volunteer experience? Look no further, this is it! Time to head back to one of The Black Doll's favvvvvvorite places in which to volunteer! And, grab a bite to eat and seal our dolling bond at Six Feet Under  - our favorite place to eatup after the meetup!

About Books For Africa: Most African children who attend school have never owned a book of their own. For many children in Africa, the gift of books truly is a gift of hope. Since 1988, Books For Africa has sent over 20 million books to the children of Africa. The mission of Books For Africa is to end the book famine in Africa. With your help, we will help create a culture of literacy and provide the tools of empowerment to the next generation of parents, teachers, and leaders in Africa. Books donated by publishers, schools, libraries, individuals, and organizations are sorted and packed by volunteers who carefully choose books that are age and subject appropriate. We send good books, enough books for a whole class to use. Books for Africa, relies on dolling volunteers like hue to sort and pack the books for shipments to Africa. No heavy lifting is involved; just a little elbow grease.

What to Wear / What to Bring: Black Dolls wear you Black Doll Tees. Community Dolls {Dolls without a Black Doll Public Appearance T-shirt} wear one of or a combination of our colors: pink, black or white. All Doll should wear comfortable shoes & gloves to protect those pretty...manicures! All Dolls should be a Doll, bring a toy doll!

Child Safety Clause: Child Safety Clause: This is NOT a Black Doll Affair where Dolls must have a criminal background check on file to attend. Therefore, this is not a Black Doll Affair for Baby Dolls - children/minors ages 13-17.

I am running late from another meeting. I text the doll phone but hadn't heard back to know if being a little late was acceptable. I will change my RSVP.
